We use the industry leading state of the art despatch system to ensure that we can maximise our efficiency and reduce our carbon emissions. To speed up the booking process and reduce mistakes, the system will store your phone number/s against regular pick ups and drop offs, these are then automatically retrieved the next time you call. Our system will despatch the nearest car to the pick up and if you booked online, you can track the location of the vehicle until it reaches your pick up point.
The drivers are routed using and onboard navigation, that will look for the shortest/fastest possible route, this way you can ensure that the driver will have assistance when required. Once we reach the pick up point, our system will automatically send a text with the drivers car details, registration number and their name, this adds to the safety aspect, especially when collecting late at night.
The map based routing engine is the most accurate platform for pricing journies as it uses the real route rather than an estimated route. This enables our call centre staff to quote you in advance. The job information is then sent to the drivers handheld computer with the price to ensure that there is consistency.
When we do a courier job, the driver will capture a signature from the recipient, this is then transmitted live to our system, so that we can keep an upto date audit of the delivery.
